Big Bandana Bake Off

Mark Swainson, one of our Engagement Officers, organised a school bake off, in order to raise funds and awareness for the Brain Tumour Society and #FellysFund.

Marks little nephew has been dealing with a brain tumour and varying treatments so it is something close to his heart he is fundraising for.  Our very own Peter Fell has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurones Disease and so Mark was very kind and decided to split the donations between both charitys.

Staff entered cakes at a donation of £5 and then once the taste testing and voting had been completed, were able to purchase slices of the cakes for a donation to the pot.

The afternoon was a huge success resulting in Mark raising an amazing £200!  Well done Mark!
