Key Stage 3 and 4 have been taking part in the World’s Largest Lesson during the week of 19th September 2016.
In September 2015 World Leaders committed to the Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
17 goals to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years:

– END EXTREME POVERTY.

– FIGHT INEQUALITY AND INJUSTICE.

– FIX CLIMATE CHANGE.

To realise these Goals, everyone, however young they are, needs to take part. So it has been our aim to join the movement, teach young people about the Goals, and encourage them to become the generation that changed the world.

Pupils have had the opportunity to put their ideas forward and have been encouraged to believe and understand  that they are not helpless, that change is possible, and that they can drive it. The Design for Change “I Can” School Challenge invites children to take action, make change for themselves and share it with children across the world.
