Newbridge House Bake Off 2018 – Macmillan Fundraising
As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care. Macmillan Cancer Support’s goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK.
Right from the moment someone is diagnosed, through treatment and beyond, Macmillan are a source of support, giving the energy and inspiration to help people living with cancer feel more like themselves.
Macmillan are millions of people affected by cancer, supporters, professionals, volunteers, and campaigners. Together they are all Macmillan.
As part of the fundraising side of the charity, Macmillan encourage people to hold their very own bake off day, whereby people can bake their own cakes, have them judged, and then bought for a small fee. Proceeds are then donated to the Macmillan charity.
