BAE Apprenticeship and Careers Fair
Our Year 11 students attended the Bae Apprenticeship Event at Forum 28 Barrow on November 3rd 2022. Some students that are thinking about apprenticeship options but not sure which path to take were able to go, meet, talk, ask questions of professionals and apprentices about the various roles available and the various routes to the qualifications needed. Some students needed a little extra support in navigating their early career options. Our open day event was a fantastic opportunity to find out everything they need to know before making an application to Bae’s apprenticeship programmes for 2023.
During the event, students had the chance to meet some current apprentices, as they shared more about their experience on their apprenticeships. With representatives from across all levels of scheme, students gained insight into the opportunities open to those who join an apprentice programmes at BAE Systems.
The students took full advantage of this event and spoke to a multitude of disciplines. 3 students from this year’s cohort have applied to Bae and will have full support from the PRU Careers team to apply and prepare for the next stages.
