Review of Results (ROR’s)
Should you be unhappy with your exam results and strongly feel they are not as you expected, you will need to speak to the subject teacher straight away either when you collect your results or when the school reopens in September. The teacher will then discuss with you if the grade is accurate against their prediction and your level of work produced. If it is felt it does need checking, depending on the exam board and level of review required, a document may need signing by you the student to authorise the school to enquire about the results from the governing exam board on your behalf.
It should be noted that where a grade is reconsidered, it can be marked higher, the same as, or even lower than the mark originally given. Normally a cost is also involved which may be incurred by the student making the application.
