2018 GCSE Results Day is Thursday 23rd August.
The centre will be open between the hours of 10.00am and 12.00pm for students to collect their results slips.
Results not collected will be posted out to students.
Please access the following link which has information regarding the new 9-1 grading of GCSE’s.
Enquiries about Results (EARs):
Should you be unhappy about your exams results and strongly feel they are not accurate, you will need to contact the subject teacher straight away when the school reopens in September. The teacher will then discuss with you if the grade is accurate against their prediction and your level of work. If it is felt it does need checking, depending on the exam board and level of review required, a document may need signing by the student to authorise the school to enquire about the results from the governing exam board on their behalf.
It should be noted that where a grade is reconsidered, it can be marked higher, the same as, or even lower than the mark originally given. Normally a cost is also involved which may be incurred by the student making the application.
